Much hype has been around Marketing RSS through a new channel. I have yet to see this done successfully in my space (SMB/professionals) but it can be a unique tool to attract search engine traffic and online users to visit your web site. I recommend you review the following web site and get all the info you can. It’s by far one of the best resources on the web right now for RSS.

    Personally, since Facebook and Twitter have reached the masses, the viewership with RSS is low. So the previous trick was indexed search, which is great, the new tactic is indexed search with real-time search like twitter or friendfeed. RSS got too noisy and complicated to use, Twitter is noisy now and the question is what’s next.

    Twitter is becoming the SPAM vehicle for marketers now… my acebook is flooded with stupid posts hourly. I actually find myself going back to RSS for both marketing and pulling content. DAN
