How To Use Twitter To Create Traffic

Written By Beatle

Have you figured out Twitter, yet? Do you feel lost that it’s all the talk but no real substance behind the bird?

How To Use Twitter

If you haven’t spent any time on Twitter, then it probably looks like a complete waste of time. I haven’t personally profited from the service, but I do hear how some bigger companies are using it to riches.

3 Ways To Use Twitter To Create Traffic:

1. Follow people who share common interests - if you are going to try and get on the bandwagon and use this tool for business, the first step is to add value first then expect value back second. That is, spend more time giving your time and recommendations that coincide with your business or industry, then, start incorporating why you might be a good fit.?

2. Surefire Way to Generate Leads – even if you never have any intention on building a list or sales through twitter, you still need to follow a few key principles: don’t turn this into the next chat free for all with no value and just mind-numbing stupid chat strings of 140 characters of nothingness. In other words, come to share valueable information, insights, ideas and resources that may help other people. You have exactly 140 characters to make your point. I love it, mainly because it forces you to get to the point and be able to communicate specific, concise information that people want to click on.?

3. Post pictures to Twit Pic and link to relevant articles or topics – simply put, people like pictures most of the times over words. If you can simply link to a cool pic after a catchy headline, it’s easier to capture interest. Here’s a quick example:

Twit – “How You Can Make $1,000,000 In 23 Years At $40/day” – this twitter post follows a link to Twit Pic

This is where you put your picture that illustrates maybe a spreadsheet image that shows 23 years by month with $40/day and after 23 years you have $1,00,000 with a hypothetical 13% annual compound rate.
